5-11 Campaign - Americans against

TEXAS LEGISLATIVE EFFORT CONTINUES
IN TEXAS BY TEXANS

Texas & The Repeal Effort

HCR 180: Intent for Texas Legislature not to implement the federal REAL ID Act of 2005.

The 5-11 Campaign is against tacit approval on any version of the Real ID Act presented to Americans.

This law seeks us to surrender fundamental rights guaranteed us as Americans.  The same rights which give many people, living in fascist or dictatorial regimes, hope. The Real ID Act cannot be fixed. It must be repealed in its entirety.

As long as the Real ID Act is law, we seek a full repeal.

As the federal law pertains to Texas expiration deadline December 31, 2009, it should be the next state out of over 25 states who have rejected the national ID card program.

How that will be achieved is with the sincerity of the people of Texas documenting their opposition to :

  • Corportate collusion with Digimarc, Identix and L-1 technologies
  • The violation of their 4th amendment with surveilled identity
  • Identity delegations to the Department of Homeland Security
  • The expansion of the U.S. Mexican borderwall fence & emminent domain
  • Allowing their vote to become a matter of national Security in accordance with the Carter-Baker Elections Commission of 2004.
  • The Real-ID Act shall not exist by you writing and calling every federal Congressperson & Senator in session to establish your needs as an American.

Texans should continue to stay involved with their local government until Real ID is a speedbump in civil liberties history.

CHAPTER CLOSED: 6/28/2009, the 5-11 Campaign concluded its Texas efforts following the end of the Texas legislative session. National Real ID repeal effort continues.
